Since when have rainbow coloured puzzle pieces been symbols for Autism? - why is the autism symbol a puzzle piece
What does this mean? I have some ideas, but I want to see anybody here think it means, or if someone knows (especially if you know where it comes from).

Why Is The Autism Symbol A Puzzle Piece Since When Have Rainbow Coloured Puzzle Pieces Been Symbols For Autism?

Because autistic people are "disturbing" and often obsessed with low specific activities such as puzzles. The same symbol for autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's, many people seem to use insulting, because it suggests that they are "puzzle" as "solved" rather than people.
